Lookouts

A day on this grid lasts four hours. These cameras stand still and watch it pass.

They run on a camera we wrote for the grid, which draws the world itself: land, water, trees, the sky of each region, the moon and the lamps at night. It never shows people. Nothing here is live. Every picture says when it was taken, and each camera takes ten a grid day, timed to the light.
